Our comprehensive plan has many goals and objectives: Maintain the Town of Bone Lake’s rural character; Preserve and enhance water quality, prime agricultural lands, maintain woodlands; Educate the citizens of Bone Lake on issues related to land use.
The Town of Bone Lake was created by a Polk County Board of Supervisors ordinance as a town on April 1, 1889. It was previously a part of the Town of Luck.
