GENERAL ELECTION NOTICE
Absentee ballots will be available beginning March 22, 2022, for the April 5, 2022 Spring Election. In person absentee voting will be available by appointment March 26 and 27, April 1, 2022 from 8am to 4pm, and April 2nd and 3rd by appointment  . Please call ahead for an appointment to vote in your vehicle at 651-307-1143. If you choose to have your absentee ballot mailed to you, visit the website: myvote.wisconsin.gov, fill out an application from the website, or email the town clerk, townofbonelake@lakeland.ws, with a note stating your name, address and intent to vote absentee. In both cases you must provide a copy of your Photo ID with your application. If you choose to vote in the town clerk’s office, phone 651-307-1143 for an appointment and be prepared to show your Photo ID. The last day to vote is Sunday April 3, 2022 at 5 pm. The residency requirement for new registrations has been changed back to 28 days. There is also a way to have the town clerk send an absentee ballot for every election if you certify that you are indefinitely confined because of age, illness, infirmity or disability. This option is located in Part 6 of the official absentee ballot application. A copy of your Photo ID is also needed for the town clerk’s file for this procedure.
