SPRING ELECTION NOTICE
Absentee ballots will be available beginning March 19, 2024, for the April 2, 2024 Spring Election. In person absentee voting will be available by appointment March 19, 2024 thru March 29, 2024, 8am to 4pm by appointment. Please call for an appointment to vote at 651-307-1143. If you choose to have your absentee ballot mailed to you, visit the website: myvote.wisconsin.gov, fill out an application from the website, or email the town clerk at: clerk@townofbonelakewi.gov  with a note stating your name, address and intent to vote absentee. In both cases you must provide a copy of your Photo ID with your application. If you choose to vote in the town clerk’s office, phone 651-307-1143 for an appointment and be prepared to show your Photo ID. The last day to vote is Friday March 29. The residency requirement for new registrations has been changed back to 28 days. There is also a way to have the town clerk send an absentee ballot for every election if you certify that you are indefinitely confined because of age, illness, infirmity or disability. This option is located in Part 6 of the official absentee ballot application. A copy of your Photo ID is also needed for the town clerk’s file for this procedure.
